Information Management and Business Processes

Examples are the best way to explain and understand what I do, so here are two recent ones:

  1. For a business owner in the nutrition field, I created a logic for digital folders and together we chose a cloud platform and installed it on her computer, as well as on her phone. We built the folders and subfolders according to the logic we created. I taught her how to move each file from its default folder on the computer itself (mainly the "Documents" and "Downloads" folder) to the correct folder for that file according to its subject (yes, it's quite a tedious project since she has thousands of files but we also talked about deleting unnecessary files, and indeed, she had a lot of duplicates and files that there was no point in keeping). I taught her how to save in the appropriate folder every new file she creates or receives, including photos and videos, directly from her computer or phone. 

  2. For the owner of a medical clinic, I built a complete process for handling invoices from suppliers. The process had several goals: to help him know even before the end of the month how much he would have to pay at the beginning of the next month to his (many) suppliers, without it taking hours of work, including checking the correctness of the invoices; he wanted to be able, at any point in time, to easily and quickly retrieve any invoice, regardless of how it arrived at the office (along with the goods, by email, mail or WhatsApp). This process frees up a lot of time for the clinic staff, who have more time to attend to their patients.
